Now we are going to look at the verbs(SER and ESTAR)there are two verbs to say (I AM,YOU ARE,WE ARE,etc.) You have to work out whether the description refers to a temporary characteristic, or a permanent characteristic.

vosotros,vosotras SOIS = you are or are you (familiar) (plural)
ustedes SON = you are or are you (formal) (plural)
ellos SON = they are or are they
ellas SON = they are or are they
