PRESENT SUBJUNCTIVE

 

Here are a few short sentences in the Present Subjunctive, on the end of the AR verb add (E), on the end of the (IR AND ER) ADD (A).

 

HÁGALO USTED. EN SEGUIDA = Do it at once
NO SE MARCHEN USTEDES = Don`t go away
SIGAMOS ESTE CAMINO = Let us follow this road
ESCRIBÁMOSLE = Let us write to him
SALGA USTED DE LA PLAZA MAYOR. = You leave the main square.
CRUCE LA PLAZA MAYOR = Cross the main square.
HABLE USTED. MÁS ALTO = Speak louder.

NO HABLEN USTEDES. TAN BAJO. = Do not speak (plur.)so low
AGUARDE USTED. UN POCO; TENGO VARIAS COSAS QUE DECIRLE. = Wait a little; I have several things to tell you.
ESCÚCHEME UN MOMENTO. = Listen to me a moment
TOME USTED. LA SEGUNDA CALLE A LA DERECHA. = Take the second street on the right
PREGUNTE DE NUEVO, CUANDO LLEGUE AL MERCADO. = Ask again, when you get to the market.
